ITCamp: Frontendamentals

A 3-month interactive workshop for subcommittee members, where you’ll learn to build sleek, interactive websites from scratch. 🌟

What you’ll get:

🔓 Roles Available

💡 President

  • Establish the club’s vision and steer the club’s overall initiatives and priorities
  • Leads the EXCO team, facilitate meetings and ensures effective team collaboration
  • Works closely with SIM Student Development Advisor and external stakeholders for formal affairs and collaborations
  • Drives long-term planning and strategy for ITC’s future developments

💡 Vice President

  • Assists the President in managing internal operations,
  • Bridges cross-functional collaboration between different departments
  • Ensures strong team cohesion for the club and maintains welfare alongside the President

💡 General Secretary

  • Manage club documentation, internal communications, and monitor the club’s email regularly to ensure timely correspondence
  • Coordinate meeting scheduling, prepare meeting minutes, and track deadlines to ensure tasks are completed on time
  • Assist in administrative tasks, including drafting proposals, post-event reports, and building forms for registration and other club needs
  • Handle HR-related matters, including managing and coordinating the general subcommittee

💡 Finance & Logistics Secretary

  • Manage the club locker and maintain an inventory of supplies to avoid unnecessary purchases and ensure resources are used efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate financial records, invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
  • Monitoring budgets, identifying discrepancies, and preparing financial summaries for management.
  • Handling accounts payable/receivable, billing, and basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Coordinating purchase orders, tracking shipments, and managing documentation between suppliers and internal departments.

💡 Technical Director (Internal)

  • Develop and improve ITCamp Curriculum
  • Develop and Quality check for lessons content and its exercises with exco team
  • Coordinate internal project development
  • Manage internal project showcase

💡 Technical Director (External)

  • Maintain ITClub Website by updating blogs, announcements, etc.
  • Supervise and manage external workshops (e.g. GitHub workshop, React workshops, etc.)
  • Manage technical subcommittees
  • Manage tech-related projects for events (e.g. Hackahton landing pages, voting website, games, etc.)

💡 Marketing Director

  • Managing the organization’s social media presence, poster design, and outreach campaigns.
  • Formulating and implementing strategies to expand public awareness and community engagement.
  • Directing and overseeing the marketing subcommittee to ensure cohesive and effective promotional efforts.
  • Monitoring campaign performance, identifying target audiences, and refining messaging to maximize the organization’s outreach impact.

💡 Partnerships & Innovation Director

  • Managing and cultivating external partnerships to ensure alignment with the club’s goals and values.
  • Sourcing and securing sponsorships that provide meaningful support and resources for the club.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with partners that bring mutual benefit to all parties involved.
  • Identifying new collaboration opportunities and innovative approaches to expand the club’s network and partnership portfolio.
